EDNTMforum-Hey Elina, it's nice to finally speak to you!
Elina-Hi! And hi to all my fans!
EDNTMforum-So I wanted to start with what happened in the second week
Elina-Ahh yes, the makeovers!
EDNTMforum-Exactly, you were given the biggest change in my opinion and at first you didn't like it. Have you come to embrace it?
Elina-Definitely! I think I was just being childish, I love it now it makes me look unique and more modelesque
EDNTMforum-It really does! Now speaking of 'childish' you were also heavily involved in Sindra's big dramatic exit
Elina-Yep, I think the words she used were "I hope Elina spontaneously combusts"...or something along those lines
EDNTMforum-What fuelled this hatred between the two of you?
Elina-Basically, Sindra couldn't let go of her purple hair and when they gave me pink hair it gave her an excuse to keep talking about that purple rug she once had on her head
EDNTMforum-Hahaha right, so do you think you will ever patch things up?
Elina-Never, we're too different I'm afraid
EDNTMforum-Nevermind then! A shock came to the viewers when you were in the bottom two twice in a row but you stayed each time, how did you feel when that happened?
Elina-Well I think it was more shocking because Bryony had been in the bottom two for the second time and was eliminated. But I was so grateful I wasn't really feeling anything!
EDNTMforum-Oh I see, well it's been lovely chatting to you Elina but before you go who would you like to win?
Elina-I would have to say Martina, she's FIERCE with a capital F!

Week 8-The girl that gets lost

Candice *confessional*-So straight away this week we got a GEORGE MAIL saying “It’s time to GO and SEE Kenya...now you don’t have to be smart to realise we’ll be doing a photo shoot in the middle of Nairobi!

George-It’s time for go sees girls!
Candice-Huh?
Martina- Ahhh!
George-However, here on make me a top model we do things a little differently. First off you’ll only be visiting one casting; however it’s for the prestigious “Imani House of Fashion” in the central business district of Nairobi. They’ll be looking at how you present yourself, your portfolio, your runway walk and your personal style. But! We’re not telling you where it is, you’ll have to find it yourself and you only have two hours to get there and be back here...GOOD LUCK!
Brenda-I can’t believe you’re doing this...
Mika-Do we not have a map or anything?
Lucy-Where’s my portfolio?
George-well you’ve already successfully wasted a minute
Mika-OMG should we be running?
George-...YES! Candice left ages ago, she’s running in the wrong direction but she’s still ahead of you!
*The girls run off in different directions*


Mika *confessional*-So after about 5 minutes I ended up in a subway station, I tried asking for directions but no one speaks English or Chinese!

*Meanwhile Candice is in the centre of town*
Candice-Hello?
Candice-Can anyone tell me where the yashmak house of design is?
Candice-OMG! I’ve found it!...no wait that’s a bakery


Brenda *confessional*-Well George said it was in the CBD so I ran straight there and managed to find a local who spoke a little bit of English, and he told me exactly where it was!

George-Well done Brenda, with ten minutes to spare, did you find the place easily?
Brenda-Very easily

Candice-OMG I’m back where we started!
George-Candice you failed to hit the deadline plus you also didn’t see the designer, therefore you’re disqualified
Mika *running*-I’m so sorry!
George-Sorry Mika you too are disqualified from this challenge
George-So onto the judging, and might I add Zoe was extremely impressed, so impressed she’s added another prize for the challenge winner! The winner will receive some designer jewellery and a summer dress straight from Zoe’s new butterfly inspired collection AND she wants the winner to walk in her runway when she displays her clothes for the first time at New York fashion week!
All girls-NO WAY!
George-So starting with Brenda, she loved your personality, you were chatty and fun...however, your portfolio wasn’t as strong as the other girls and you walked like you were just starting out as a model. Martina she loved your sense of style and thought your portfolio was very edgy, however once again your runway wasn’t perfected. Finally we have Lucy whose charisma she loved, she liked most of your photos and you had a stellar runway walk...so you’re the winner!
Lucy-Yay! Thank you so much
George-Now we have three pieces of jewellery here and you can either keep them all to yourself or share them out
Lucy-hmmm, well I would like to keep the diamond ring and the pearl necklace, but I’ll give the butterfly bracelet to Martina in memory of the amazing race we had here in Nairobi!

Mika-Yeah but Brenda also sent me on a wild goose chase just so it would disqualify me

Mika-Yep, it sent me straight to a dead end and I lost 15 minutes

Lucy *confessional*-I’m pumped after my challenge win so when we get to this glorious sandy beach it looks like things are only going to get better!

George-Hey girls, last week we eliminated Elina because she gave us a stiff pose, so this week you’re going to be portraying elegant water nymphs that have washed up on this gorgeous Kenyan beach. We really want you to look sweet and innocent opposed to confused or angry. We’re also going to give you each a really extravagant colourful wig to pull off with some glamorous bikinis so it’s all going to be very couture!
Candice-Is that like blessing a chicken?
George-No Candice, that’s kosher...
Candice-Meh same thing
George-So when you’re ready we’ll start with Brenda

George-Brenda you CANNOT be in the bottom two this week!
Brenda-Don’t worry George I’ve been practicing my posing and facial expressions
George-Well let’s see if you can apply that to this photo shoot

Brenda-This is my kind of photo shoot! Sea, sun and fake hair, what more could a girl ask for?

George-Candice we absolutely loved your posing last week, don’t let the whole couture feel of this shoot phase you
Candice-I’ll pretend I know what that means!

Candice-So couture is nothing to do with chickens or Jewish people? Well whatever it is I think I fulfilled the brief today

George-Lucy you never fail to give us some really edgy shots so I think this is your photo shoot
Lucy-Correction George, it IS my photo shoot!

Lucy-Wow that was really fun! I loved my blue wig and it was boiling on set but I didn’t let that bother me, I just jumped on the hammock and started posing

George-Ok Martina we want to see you being called first again don’t we?
Martina-Of course...but I was just wondering, could I stand on the hammock?
George-As long as you know you can balance

Martina-Let’s see the other girls do that! I might have fallen off 13 times but at least I thought outside the box

George-Ok Mika you’re the last of the day so you should have the most energy

Mika-This photo shoot was extremely challenging, I couldn’t see because of the sun and I was given a much harder swim suit to work with

Mika-The sun was burning my eyes, I couldn’t pose because I was so hot and the bathing suit I was given wasn’t too flexible
Candice-Well don’t judge your elimination based on just this photo shoot, they’ll most likely take every one into account
