 :::Design Task #1:::Swimwear!:::The finalists are taken by the limo to an empty room filled with fabrics, sewing machines, etc. They all walk in and pile up in front of Jenna, who stands in the center of the room. Jenner: Hey Designers. You are the ones who have selected to make it to this point. This is when the real competition starts. You will each have to show us who has what it takes to be the next Modeliste. Now, you know this week's deisign task is swimwear. I know it's still winter, but you will have to design a swimwear piece. This is pretty plain and simple. You have all the creativity in the world, so go for it. We want you to take chances and put you into the pieces. You may use other photos for inspiration, but all together this should be you. Good luck! Guidelines1. You will be desiging a female swimwear piece. 2. Go all out. Unlike last round, we encourage and prefer you edit your designs as much as you can. Try not to take stuff directly from the doll maker. We want to see what you can do as a designer/editor. 3. Transparent/Solid Background! I will be editing your designs onto a background. 4. You again will be using your own models. I don't care who you use. Just use a female doll. I will be judging how you style her and how that incorporates with your design. 5. Acessories are allowed to bring out your creativity and style. 6. PM all entries to me. 7. Deadlines: Jan. 25th, 2009 by 11:59 (CST) |

Also, a new prize has been added.
The winner will also get his/her designs displayed on the cover of the upcoming Candybar Doll fashion magazine, eL Magazine with a five page spread.

Eeek can't wait to see everyones designs As I said earlier I took a really big risk and either it will work really well or just look utter poo compared to the other designs |
