Woooo X-factors back In case people don't know it's a singing contest similar to American Idol however each of the 4 judges mentor a different category. This year Louis Walsh is mentoring the groups, Simon Cowell is helping the over 25's, Cheryl Cole is aiding the boys and Dannii Minogue is with the girls. Each week I thought I would post my favourite performance and y'all can go on youtube to watch the rest. In a twist this series we find out who's been eliminated on a Sunday after they perform live on Saturday. Plus, we get to watch some live performances from singers. This week Alexandra Burke (last years winner) will be performing her new song 'Bad Boys' and Robbie Williams is back (sadly) with a new song called 'Bodies'. Susan Boyle is also stated to be singing in November! Anyway, this week my favourite act was one of the girls, Stacey Solomon who sung Coldplays 'The Scientist'. I thought it was AMAZING for a first performance.

X-Factor is getting very fake lately.
I liked it better when the audition processes and the processes leading up to the Finals were "smaller", you know, no big fat stage, no public audience. And I hate how during the performances they shift to the judges and the judges have all these fake expressions and how the scenes are all overly dramatized, like it's a movie or something. I mean, come on!
Like literally, every single audition feels like a "Susan Boyle" audition, I swear to god. And I could tell who was in the finals during the auditions soley based on these over dramatized auditions, even if the person wasn't even THAT good.
And I honestly feel Stacey is SO overrated, but that performance was very good I've got to say.

Totally agree with you about it all being overly dramatized. I was totally against them having a huge audience for the auditions it ruined it :/ But the only person I feel is over rated is that afro guy :/ He just talked in his first live performance but the judges raved about it so maybe it's just me XD 400th post by the way! WOOOO

So this week was Diva week (kind of a stupid choice if you ask me) but they all performed pretty well. My favourite this week was Lloyd Daniels who performed Leona Lewis' biggest hit "bleeding love". It was pretty much slated by the judges however I thought he made the song his own and sung it well. I'm still backing Stacey to win though Today Whitney Houston's singing on the show and Cheryl Cole's miming her new song because she can't sing live to save her life
