::Design Challenge #1::
"Black or White"
The Top 9 finalists were taken from the airport and quickly driven up to the design studio. As they entered, they met Tule Cheng, who was waiting for them.
"Welcome to the competition! Your first challenge starts right now. It is time to get your head in the game and really bring everything you have, because one of you is going home this week.
Now, the name of your first Design Challenge is "Black or White", which some of you may know is a Michael Jackson song (RIP). This song has a very powerful message, but for today's challenge we are just going to use it for a plain, simple Design Challenge. That's right. You have to design an outfit using just black and/or white fabrics. We are taking away all the color and seeing what you can do as a designer when color is not a factor.
To add to this challenge, we will be splitting you guys into 3 teams. One team will be designing b/w swimwear or lingerie, one will be designing b/w formal wear and the last team will be designing b/w casual wear. So here are the groups...."

::Guidelines::
1. Design an outfit using only the colors black and/or white. Also design the type of outfit that was given to you.
2. You may use any techniques in order to make your designs (straight from the maker, recoloring, drawing, etc), except using parts of real pictures.
3. Send your design, using any model you choose. It should be on a transparent or a solid-colored background.
4. You are designing a FEMALE outfit.
5. The deadline is July 2nd. PM your designs to me. |
