Tule: Welcome to panel #2, guys! Tonight, we will evaluate your designs and determine which two of you will unfortunately be sent home. Before we judge your designs, let's review the prizes.

Ashley :: Was your banana off Ashley? Let's start with the trousers...they're a hideous colour and they're not full length. That's so unfashionable it's untrue! As for the top, I like the lacing, I think it's cute but overall nothing wows me. Finally, the shoes...they're pink! If anything they should have been black to represent the stalk of a banana! This design is really mediocre I'm afraid, we're in our second week, we need to see more from you!

Bootz :: Well Bootz, the skirt looks like you picked it up out of a charity shop and the top doesn't match it at all. Based on that alone you would be going home in my opinion. However, what saved your design is the solid blue balls you stuck on to represent "blueberries". Though it's pretty simple it's innovative and unique and that's what Modeliste's about!

Codi :: I'm really glad you chose an off the shoulder design for the upper part of your outfit, it's very modern and very fun. Your use of ruffles to add more dynamics was also a good idea. However, we then come to the bottom half...your shorts. One side is longer than the other! How did you think we wouldn't notice that!? So your proportions are all wrong and then to top it all off you give your model flip flops, even though I told someone else last week to always send your model down a catwalk in heels. I see "orange" in your design but I don't see a high fashion outfit.

Gormorca :: I think it's great how you incorporated the two colours of an apple Gormorca, that's thinking outside of the box. Now I like the one strap tank top design because it's simple but still quite edgy, however I'm not sold on the skirt. It's way too ruffled for my liking and it looks like it's riding up on your model, so much so it's past her hips! Then we also have the random brown material stuck on the middle which adds nothing to your design. Finally, the shoes would have been so much nicer without the pom poms on but they're still a very fashionable choice so well done.

Juji :: It's definitely a design based off a strawberry but I'm really starting to dislike you as a designer. Nothing ever works as a whole outfit, you've got the one strap tank top which looks nice but then it's finished off with a polka dot dress! Firstly, Polka dot's haven't been in fashion for years and it doesn't match the t-shirt at all. The biggest faux par is how you hemmed your skirt with a piece of white satin which once again doesn't go with anything else on your design. Finally, you put your model in some Wizard of Oz shoes...I think they speak for themselves.

Kerimina :: Well this could have been an amazing design Kerimina but it isn't, mainly due to extremely bad construction on your part. The top (much like every other design that's had it today) is nice...but then we come to those hideous Harem-esque pants that don't look flattering at all. They're two different lengths, they look tight on your model and pants that aren't shorts should really come past the knee. As for your shoes, what were they made out of, cloth!? They were falling to pieces coming down the runway which didn't impress me. Finally, forgive me if I'm wrong, but aren't plums purple?

Liselle :: Another fierce design from you Liselle! You got lime which in my opinion sounds easy but I'm sure it's not. Firstly I love how you created a blazer in this gorgeous colour to put over a top, that's so 'Yves Saint Laurent' it's uncanny. But I'm also loving how the bottom half of your design is completely matching the top half (colour and style) it shows that you thought about the outfit as a whole, not as individual pieces. I'm also really glad that the trousers are nicely fitted so they show off the models legs not drown them. My only reservation is your choice of shoes, something more simple would have looked nicer.

Nikki :: I think it's great how you opted for an evening dress Nikki, it's showing us you can make a range of different designs. I'm really liking it this week, you've fitted your dress perfectly to get that hour glass shape and I like how the material flicks out at the bottom to make the whole outfit stand out. Your use of solid balls to represent grapes like Bootz really works on this outfit and the shoes are perfect for a design this elegant! My only problem is the construction of the top part, it would have looked much nicer if it was a strapless "bustier" design, at the moment it looks kind of awkwardly made.

Sykalo :: Well the colours are perfect Sykalo and I really like how you chose to use faux fur around the jacket you made, because Kiwi's are often hairy! Sadly that's all I really like about the design, I think you overthought it by adding to much. Firstly, there's way too many layers, your model was dehydrating on the runway! And on top of that you put tights over tights...not a good look. Finally, I'm just not sure the t-shirt is that nice it doesn't really go with the jacket and looks a bit out of place. You tried Sykalo but I think you can do better.

Ashley :: I don't like this design. It don't look banana enough. And shoes isn't banana! It look commerical though.

Bootz :: I like this design. It do look blueberry and I love how you make it. Good job Bootz.

Codi :: It do look like orange but I don't like this design. It was so boring. She look like buyer not model

Gormorca :: It almost look like apple. It was ok. Red and Green are apple. I like skirt though. But you use same top with Juji.

Juji :: It do look strawberries. Like design but not top because you use same top with Gormorca and I don't like that. I like skirt and shoes both match with strawberries.

Kerimina :: I love this design. It do look like plum. It look high-fashion and unique. I love how you make top and bottom and shoes. Great job Kerimina!

Liselle :: Awesome. It do look like lime. I love everything. It was perfect. I love it! Perfect job Liselle!

Nikki :: Great design. It does look grape. You make this design that very well. Great job Nikki!

Sykalo :: Love it! It do look like kiwi. It was fierce and you make your own design which very well. It was awesome. Awesome job Sykalo.

Ashley :: Ok, firstly let’s talk about the shoes. Now, for this round you gave me the codes to make the outfit for you, and when I looked at the code for the shoes and when I found it on the site, I had to recheck it again, cause honestly what in the world were you thinking with those shoes? I mean look at them. They don't fit at all, and it really, really brings this design down. And even the outfit itself is not very strong. This isn’t a very attractive color. I especially do not like the pants. I feel you could’ve gone so many different places with this fruit, like maybe a nice bright yellow dress or something. But
unfortunately, Ashley, this may be your last week with us.


Bootz :: Better, but I feel you went a little overboard with the blueberry things that you used in your outfit. They are literally everywhere around the outfit. They are just too overused I’m afraid, because if you had implemented them well it would’ve been a whole lot better. I don’t think the shoes, skirt or the top go together whatsoever. Overall, this is a very average design.

Codi :: Firstly, those shoes. Ummm, no, no, no. Are those cheap looking sandals with sunflowers on them? Take them off your model, please. Now everything else, not so bad. I don’t think the top and the shorts work very well together. The top has potential, but I’m not a fan of the shorts. They look cheap. The outfit does not work well together, even though I definitely see orange in this shot.

Gormorca :: I honestly don’t like this design at all, nor do I like how you styled your model. The hair is just too much. It’s distracting. Sometimes wild hair works, and sometimes it doesn’t. As a design you need to know how to style your model without making the make up and hair overpower the actual design. I think you forgot about the fashion part and concentrated too much on the apple part, because I do not like your choice of skirt. It looks misplaced. The shoes are a little random too, with the little furry ball sticking out. I’m just not a fan of this, Gormorca. Sorry.

Juji :: I see a strawberry, I will give you that. The skirt especially screams “strawberry” to me, so well done on tackling the theme. Compared to last week, you’ve improved, but it still is overall only decent. The top and the bottom just don’t go together, and what’s up with the ribbons? Also, the shoes look too schoolgirl for me, and I really feel heels would’ve been a better choice.

Kerimina :: You let me down, unfortunately. I’m not a big fan of this I’m afraid. The design just feels very puffy and clumpy. I especially don’t like the pants. It looks like one of those things the men wore in medieval times, you know, those puffy pants. The color also doesn’t really bring out “plum” to me, and I don’t like how there’s a picture of a plum on the top. It just doesn’t work.

Liselle :: This is a very nice. What really pops out to me is this color and this material you used. I love the richness in the color. The design really has an androgynous feel that makes it unique to me. I also really like how you styled your model. I will say I’m not a fan of the shoes, but overall I like this.

Nikki :: My favorite design this week. I absolutely love this dress. This shape is just so sexy and unique. The grapes you used at the end look great, and unlike Bootz, you did not overuse them. I can see them, but they do not overwhelm the design. Maybe the material you used could’ve been better, cause I’m not a big fan of the one you used, like I’m not a fan of these lines that go down the dress. However, I love this design.

Sykalo :: I'm actually gonna disagree with Marcus on this one and say that I really like this design. It’s a favorite of mine this week. I think you nailed the kiwi portion of it. However, there are things you could’ve improved on. At first glance, it really looks as if you put too much on, like you were piling a bunch of clothing on your model. Remember, sometimes less is more. I don’t think it was a good idea to use both the socks and the tights in the same outfit. You should’ve either chosen one or the other. I also feel construction could’ve been executed better. But overall this is a good design, so well done.

Tule: Marcus, Jack and I will deliberate, and when you return I will announce which two of you will no longer be with us.

For this challenge, we are giving you a simple theme: the future. What do you imagine fashion will be like in the future? Will we all be wearing Lady Gaga - styled outfits or cardboard boxes? We want to see what your interpretation of futuristic fashion is.

You will design a futuristic outfit using your own imagination. This is a very broad theme, so we want to so innovation and creativity.
